How do I activate and operate the add-on?
- Activate the add‑on in Upgates
In the Upgates admin go to Add‑ons → Communication and activate Chaterimo. - Redirect to Chaterimo
After activation you’ll be redirected to sign up/sign in to Chaterimo and link your e‑shop. - Create and deploy the widget
Choose the chat’s look and behavior. You can deploy the widget automatically and (optionally) enable order‑status queries. - Fill the knowledge base
Add sources (policies, FAQs, the product XML feed, and/or documents). The chat will rely on these verified facts. - Test & tune
Test answers in Chaterimo, fine‑tune knowledge and visuals. Changes apply immediately (clear browser cache if needed). - Optional: order queries
In higher plans enable order‑status checks via the Upgates API (the customer enters the order number, the chat returns the current status).
