OpenAI Ads

ChatGPT Ads allows you to reach potential customers directly within the ChatGPT environment—precisely when they are exploring options, comparing offers, and making purchasing decisions.

This add-on connects your Upgates e-shop’s product data with the ChatGPT Ads platform. This enables you to use up-to-date information on products, prices, and availability when creating product campaigns, eliminating the need for repeated manual catalog uploads.

The integration also includes conversion event tracking, giving you better insight into which campaigns and products are driving visitors and orders.

How do you activate and use the add-on?

1. In your administration panel, click on Add-ons.
2. Search for OpenAI Ads.
3. Click the Activate button.
4. Log in to your ChatGPT Ads account or create a new advertising account.
5. In the Ad Manager sidebar menu, navigate to the Tools / Channels section.
6. Click the + Create Channel button.
7. Fill out the form:
   1. Display Name – Give it a name, such as your project name.
   2. How ​​to send products – Select Hosted URL.
   3. Confirm by clicking Save.
8. Once created, a new section titled Connect your channel via URL will appear.
9. In the Upgates administration, copy the OpenAI feed URL from the add-on details and paste it into the File URL field.
10. Leave the Verification (optional) field blank and click Connect.
11. Then, follow the remaining instructions provided by OpenAI.

After the initial setup, the product catalog updates automatically. Changes to prices, availability, and other supported data are regularly synced from Upgates to ChatGPT Ads.

To use the add-on, you need an active ChatGPT Ads account and access to the features utilized by the integration.
The availability of advertising features may vary depending on the country, account type, and current OpenAI terms.
