How do I activate and operate the add-on?

What do you need for proper functionality?

To ensure the add-on functions correctly, please complete the two following steps:

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MERGAD ACCOUNT YET:

1. Create a project in Mergado Editor - The add-on requires a link to your Mergado account and at least one active project.
   
   
2. Activate the Pricing Fox app -  For the add-on to function correctly, you must enable the app in the Mergado Store. This allows you to optimise your prices and transfer them directly to your e-shop pages with the Upgates add-on.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND AN ACTIVE PROJECT: 

1. Simply enable the Pricing Fox app in the Mergado Store and set the desired rules for automatic repricing.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE MERGADO AND PRICING FOX:

1. You already have the original connector linked in the Pricing Fox application:

   • You can establish the connection within the Upgates administration by activating the Pricing Fox - connection extension. That's it! By activating this extension, the new API details are transferred to the existing connector. You can test the connection within the Pricing Fox application by verifying the connector with a click on Test Connection.

2. New Activation of Upgates and Pricing Fox Connection

there are two ways to activate this connection: 

1. 1. Activation in the Pricing Fox application - first, in the Pricing Fox application, go to the Connections tab -> Output Connections section - click on Upgates, fill in the API URL of your e-shop, select the language, and save the connection. At this stage, it will not be possible to verify the connection through Test Connection. You need to go to the Upgates administration of your e-shop and activate the extension there. Then, continue with the scenario according to the first connection option.

   2. Activation in Upgates Administration - Within the Upgates administration, where you activate the Pricing Fox - connection extension, it is necessary to activate the connector in the Pricing Fox application. Activate it in the Connections tab -> Output Connections section - click on Upgates, fill in the API URL of your e-shop, select the language, and save the connection. This will connect Upgates with the Pricing Fox application, and you can test the connection by clicking the Test Connection button.
