How do I activate and operate the add-on?
How to Install DataPlus?
The implementation of DataPlus is very simple and can be done in just a few steps.
In the left menu, click on Add-ons > Add-on List > search for DataPlus > Activate.
After installing the add-on, you will see more information about DataPlus. In the left menu, you will need to complete the configuration and settings. The add-on will guide you through both.
In the configuration, select the domains for which you want to set up DataPlus and confirm. If everything goes smoothly, DNS settings will be verified, and in the final step, the measurement script will be automatically set into the tracking codes through the API and Google Analytics 4 will be created.
Once you have completed the configuration, an invitation to access the newly created GA4 account will be sent to the contact email you used when creating the e-shop. However, the process may not always go smoothly. For example, if the e-shop is created using a Seznam.cz email, there might be an issue with sharing GA4. In such cases, contact technical support at dataplus@advisio.cz, and they will resolve the issue.
The only thing left is to set up the connection with Google Ads. Click on Settings in the left menu and follow the steps.
Before you start linking, make sure you are signed in to the Google account that has access to both GA4 and Google Ads.
- Open the GA4 account you want to link. Click on Admin at the bottom left.
- In the menu, find the Service Linking section and then select Google Ads Linking.
- Click the Link button in the top right corner.
- Select the Google Ads account you want to link. Do not change anything in the next settings and click Finish.
- If your Google Ads account does not appear, make sure you have sufficient permissions in both GA4 and Google Ads.
